What Is Autism Spectrum Disorder?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a child communicates, interacts with others, and experiences the world around them. It is called a "spectrum" because it looks different in every child — some children may not speak, others may speak but struggle with social connection, and some may have intense sensory sensitivities.

Autism is not a disease. It cannot be cured. But with the right early intervention, children with autism can make extraordinary progress — learning to communicate, connect with family, attend school, and live increasingly independent lives. The earlier intervention begins, the better the outcomes.

Research consistently shows that intensive, evidence-based therapy — particularly ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy — produces significant, measurable improvements in children with autism when started early.

Book a comprehensive autism assessment (Rs. 6,500). Our clinical team evaluates your child and gives you a written report with a clear therapy roadmap. Fee is credited back on enrollment.

Start Therapy — Daily
Enroll in the right monthly package for your child. Therapy begins within the same week. Daily sessions, monthly progress reports, and parent training included.

eMind is Multan's first and only dedicated autism center with a full range of therapy services under one roof. While individual therapists and general doctors are available through directories, eMind is the only center offering comprehensive autism therapy — ABA, speech, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, school readiness, and clinical assessment — all supervised by an FCPS-qualified psychiatrist and certified clinical psychologist.
No. If you have developmental concerns, you can start with our assessment to get clarity first. However, a formal diagnosis is not required to begin therapy at eMind. If your child shows clear developmental delays or autism signs, we can begin ABA or speech therapy immediately while the assessment is being processed.
The earlier, the better. Research consistently shows children who begin ABA therapy and speech therapy between ages 2 and 5 make the most significant gains. However, autism therapy is effective at any age — we work with children from 18 months through age 12. If you have any concern about your child's development, the right time to start is now.
Individual services: ABA Therapy Rs. 12,000/month, Speech Therapy Rs. 10,000/month, Occupational Therapy Rs. 10,000/month, Physiotherapy Rs. 8,000/month, School Readiness Rs. 12,000/month. Bundle packages start from Rs. 16,000/month (ABA + Speech) to Rs. 28,000/month (all 4 therapies combined). Assessment is Rs. 6,500 one-time, credited back on enrollment.
All therapy programs at eMind run 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 45 minutes per session. The School Readiness Program runs 5 days per week for 1 hour per session. Physiotherapy runs 3 days per week. This daily frequency is what produces the best outcomes — significantly better than once or twice weekly sessions.
